ABOUT THE ROLE
As an IT Support Analyst at The Whiskey Project Group, you will provide responsive, practical technology support to colleagues across the business. You will help maintain a reliable day-to-day working environment by resolving user issues, supporting devices and business applications, and assisting employees to use technology confidently and securely.
The role will involve responding to support requests, investigating hardware and software issues, setting up equipment and user access, maintaining accurate records and escalating more complex matters when required. You will work with people across a range of technical, operational and corporate functions, adapting your communication to different levels of technical knowledge.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing international organisation where dependable technology supports collaboration, engineering, manufacturing and business operations. You will play an important role in keeping people connected, productive and supported.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You will bring a service-focused approach, sound technical troubleshooting skills and the patience to guide users through problems clearly and professionally. You are organised, responsive and comfortable investigating issues methodically before identifying the most appropriate solution.
Ideally, you will offer:
• Previous experience in an IT support, service desk or technical support role
• A practical understanding of workplace hardware, software, user accounts and network connectivity
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• The ability to explain technical information in clear, accessible language
• A professional and helpful approach to supporting users
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and record-keeping skills
• Awareness of information security and responsible access-management practices
• The ability to work independently while escalating issues appropriately
• A willingness to learn unfamiliar systems and support evolving business requirements
Relevant IT qualifications or certifications may be beneficial, but practical capability, sound judgement and a strong commitment to user support are equally important.
